Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure timely payments and manage payment schedules
  • Maintain organized records of all AP transactions
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and issues
  • Support internal teams with AP-related inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Familiarity with 3-way matching and expense reporting
